June 29, 2007 - We reported the status of our Transration Project of “The Families of Abductees”. We have been talking about publishing in more concrete term. As a Japanese publisher, Kobunsha represents a copyright of the book. We started “Campaign for Pablication”. Please send your massage to Kobunsha. Apr 23, 2007 - Apr 28, 2007 In the week of North Korea Freedom Week, Mr. Masumoto, Mrs. Saito of the Abductee Family Association and Mr. Shimada of the Abductee Rescue Association came from Japan to participate. ReACH had a dinner with them on 4/22. Altogether 23 people joined the dinner. ReACH members participated many activities during NKFW. Ms. Yumiko Chiba, who was born in Japan, moved to North Korea when she was a baby, exiled from North Korea recently, testified at US congress. Many people are moved listening to her testimony.

Dec 23, 2005 We held campaingn against abduction by North Korea in front of White House. (Media Info Release) Dec 21, 2005 We started the translation project of “Families” of abductees. We are looking for volunteers for the project. (Japanese) Dec 17, 2005 Meeting for Patty and Chris on selection of their movie in Slamdance Film Festival. Nov 30, 2005 Maeshima joined the meeting of Yamanashi, where 1,100 people participated. Speeches were made by the parents of Megumi Yokota and by Mrs. Misa Morimoto, the twin sister of Miho Yamamoto, victim from Yamanashi. There was also an explanation of the Omachi Route on which abduction victims and missing people are indicated. Nov 4, 2005 Second ReACH meeting held. Eight members participated at the Asano's. We introduced and discussed books related to North Korea, the English name of this group, and planned future activities. Farewell party for Mr. Nanjo, who is moving back to Japan. Oct 24, 2005 Three representatives from AFVKN and NARKN, Mr. Masumoto, Mr. Yokota and Mr. Shimada, visited Washington, DC. At this event, Mr. Masumoto of AFVKN gave a speech in English criticizing North Korea's abduction of Japanese as a violation of human rights, and also discussed how to democratize North Korea.
