ANOUNCEMENT
ReACH (Rescuing Abductees Center for Hope) and C.H.N.K.
(Citizenfs
Coalition for Human
Right of Abductees and North Korean
Refugees) are
jointly appealing to
the world to free all the abductees
held in North Korea
by calling the names
of all the abductees held in North
Korea, more than
80,000 in all,
starting at noon on Saturday, September 1 at
Lafayette Park
in front of the
White House. We will call their names day
and night, rain or
shine, non-stop. We
estimate it will take about four full
days to finish all
the names.
gWe are going to call
the names of all
the abductees held in North Korea.
More than 80,000 of
them in all. We will call their names in
alphabetical
order based on their
country of origin, though we will not
mention the
country names
themselves. Whatever country he or she belongs
to, every
single abductee is
as important as everyone else. One name
represents one
life.h
We are asking for
volunteers to help call out these names.
The more people
who can help, the
more we can spread the word.
If you want to be a
part of this appeal, please contact Ms.
Akemi Maeshima
at
maeshima@asanocpa.com. Please tell us in advance your
availability (time
and date) and your
telephone number (cell is preferable), so
that we can
coordinate sleep and
rest schedules.
Also, we are looking
for information about places for
bathrooms and naps
near Lafayette Park.
If you have any ideas, please let us
know.
